The Most Expensive Disney Theme Park Might Surprise You

From Good Housekeeping

Unfortunately, the Happiest Place on Earth isn't free. While many parents look forward to taking their children on a once-in-a-lifetime trip to one of Disney's magical theme parks, the cost of tickets for multiple people and several days can add up - fast. But did you know not all of the locations cost the same?

If you want to visit the amusement park that costs the least, venture to Disneyland Paris, where admission only costs $153 for a family of four. That's quite a steal compared to the most expensive, which is Walt Disney World Orlando at $382 for the same number of tickets. Even Disney's newest park in Shanghai (which just opened last week!) is pricier than Paris at $198.

Take a look:

Sure, the most and least expensive parks have a steep $228 price difference, but once you factor in airfare and lodging it might not make as big of a difference. And when it comes to size, there's no beating Orlando, which has four theme parks (compared to Paris' two). Not to mention the 27 resort hotels, two water parks, golf courses, campground and shopping complex.

But it's really like comparing Mickey to Minnie. After all, can you honestly pick a favorite between these two famous mice? We can't.
