More Monster Furs at #LFW

Ooh… ahh… Love…

First day of London Fashion Week and already we hit the ground running with Shrimps. If you don’t know this label, you’ve already seen the its influence. Shrimps designer Hannah Weiland made a splash last year with her colorful faux furs. During New York Fashion Week, it seemed like every person was bundled up in technicolor fur, be it a tiger striped scarf or pink patchwork coat.

The Shrimps effect was everywhere. Yesterday, Weiland showed us more of her signature coats in fun, bright color combinations like green and blue, brown and pink, but the stand out were the shoes! Furry heels in the same carefree color schemes. If theses do not scream street style then I don’t know what the world is coming to! This label is a favorite with the Brit it girls. The Chung and Geldof girls were there, and all I could hear from them were: ‘ohhh… ahhhh… love….’ I guessed they approve of the new collection.
