Miranda Cosgrove got a bob, and she looks SO sophisticated

Well, it’s official: The coolest haircut of the summer is the choppy bob, and it seems like everyone is grabbing the scissors these days. Case in point: Miranda Cosgrove just got a bob, and we are hair. for. it.

Though she’s known for her signature long, wavy locks, Miranda debuted her short haircut this past weekend during her press tour for Despicable Me 3, and we’re obsessed with it.

The look is a definite departure from her long hair, but we love everything about Miranda’s new switch-up.

Miranda has grown up on our TV screens, from her debut movie role in School of Rock to her starring roles on Nickelodeon staples like Drake & Josh and iCarly. But her new look is so sophisticated…and also totally perfect for summer.

Miranda voices Margo in all three Despicable Me movies, and it seems like she’s having tons of fun promoting the film. At the Los Angeles premiere, she paired a summery white dress with Minion-yellow pumps and a matching yellow clutch. It was the perfect fun look to celebrate the movie’s release.

Then, on Monday, Miranda showed off her new bob yet again for more press appearances in Miami, this time rocking more Minion-yellow in the cutest dress paired with white sandals.

She took a minute to pose with some beach-ready Minions, and we are so jealous.
