Miley Cyrus is a Naked Arts & Crafts Project in Paper Magazine

Paper magazine loooves to #breaktheinternet. Last year, it was Kim Kardashian, greased up pouring champagne on herself. This year, it’s Miley Cyrus, greased up wearing a beaded merkin. The magazine revealed the cover of its summer music issue on Monday, featuring the former Disney star wearing nothing but mud. Sure she was naked, but she was mostly blocked by her pet pig, Bubba Sue (who’s big enough to obscure three Mileys).

Bubba Sue’s missing from the inside though, so readers (”readers” might be the wrong word) get the whole shebang. Photographer Paola Kudacki shot Cyrus as naked as the day she was born in a colorful, abstract editorial. Cyrus, who looks awfully confused, wears flourescent body paint on her chest, abdomen, and crotch. A chunk of paint on her thigh looks like bricks, and there are a few flourishes of color on her eyelids.

Cyrus continues to talk about her sexuality in the magazine: “I’m down with any adult - anyone over 18 who’s down to love me,” she says. Her nudity is about the only adult thing about this photoshoot though. While Kim’s was mesmerizing, Cyrus’s is kind of creepy. It looks like a group of summer campers took out their arts and crafts angst on her body.
