Just like their movies Friends with Benefits and No Strings Attached, Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher began their storybook romance in a similar, non-romantic way. The actress revealed during an interview on The Howard Stern Show Tuesday that they never intended to get serious when things first started heating up.

The duo met on the set of That '70s Show (Kunis shared her first-ever kiss on-set with her now-husband Kutcher) and stayed in touch in the years following. The actress said that their relationship was entirely platonic until they locked eyes at an awards show about eight months after Kutcher split with ex-wife Demi Moore.

"So I see this guy and I see his back. And he's really tall and I was like, 'Who's the tall guy?'" she said. "And then he just turns around and it was, literally, like if we were in a movie--like the music would start playing and violins would go. ... I think that he, for the first time ever, took my breath away."

"If we had just paid attention to movies, we should know that sh-- like this does not work out in real life. Well, we clearly didn't pay attention and we shook hands. We were like, 'Let's just have fun.' Literally, we lived out our movies," Kunis said.

Kutcher invited his longtime friend to a housewarming party later that week and she happily accepted, unsure of why she had "butterflies" in her stomach. The Bad Moms star later found out that Kutcher had planned to set her up with one of his friends at the party, but sparks flew between the former co-stars.

"Long story short, I didn't come home until the next morning," she said. "That was the first time ever that I had ever slept over when I was single at a guy's house. I'll tell you this much: He didn't let me leave."

The couple kept their friends with benefits situation private and expect things to remain casual. "We ended up having a lot of talks about how this is a huge mistake and how he needs to go and be single and how I need to go and be single," Kunis said, as both of them had just gotten out of long-term relationships.

Eventually, they stopped denying that feelings had developed between them and surprised us all by getting hitched. "I think it took my parents by surprise," she said. "I think it took him and I both by surprise ... We started dating with the idea we both were never going to get married."
