THIS IS BY NO WAY CONFIRMED BY GILMORE GIRLS, OR NETFLIX, OR LORELAI, OR RORY, OR ANYONE ELSE IN STARS HOLLOW. But we need to talk about it.

Last week, both a Twitter and an Instagram popped up for the show, and that’s following the fact that you can actually add it to your queue on Netflix. Yesterday, the Gilmore Girls Facebook updated their cover photo and profile picture. AND THEN, the Gilmore Girls twitter actually started tweeting. Something is going on behind-the-scenes.

Also, if it sounds like I’m stalking the Gilmore Girls social media accounts, yes, you would be correct.

Then, in conjunction with the Gilmore Guys Podcast, the Gilmore Girls Twitter decided that they would start tweeting out their favorite lines from every episode from the show for the next 153 days. 153 might be a random number, but that’s how many episodes of Gilmore Girls there were during its initial run. 153 episodes.

But…why today start doing this today? Why right now? Why start counting down all 153 episodes on June 22nd, 2016?

And since I’ve spent far too much time submerged in the depths of Gilmore Girls for the past few months, I did the math. What’s 153 days away from today?

November 22nd, 2016.

And since there’s no such thing as a coincidence in life, and especially when it comes to Netflix, that’s the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. It’s the Tuesday before Lauren Graham’s new book, Talking as Fast as I Can, is released. It’s right around the time we initially speculated that Gilmore Girls would be released, since Graham happened to mention that her new book would land around the same time as A Year in the Life.

THIS CANNOT BE A COINCIDENCE.

While it would be odd for Gilmore Girls to be released on a Tuesday, it’s not that weird. That Tuesday, many will be wrapping up their last day at work and school before the Thanksgiving holiday. And even if you’re still supposed to go to school/work on Wednesday, you’re already anticipating calling in that day because you’ll be watching Gilmore Girls you’ll have a day or two off to binge later on that week.

So, is this real? Not real? Could this be the release date for the series? TELL US NETFLIX. WE’RE WAITING.
