Met Gala 2016: What Everyone Wore to the Afterparties

The Met Gala red carpet saw celebrities in gowns completely embellished in Swarovski crystals, dresses with large voluminous skirts, trains made of feathers, and busts covered in heavy metal materials. While beautiful, most of the ensembles were not really conducive to doing anything other than standing (multiple guests had to take special buses to the museum because they legitimately couldn’t sit). So for the afterparties, guests changed into more comfortable duds to better dance in.
