The 8 New It-Girls Heating Up Sundance

Imogen Poots has been on the cusp of stardom for a few years, but she’s still waiting for the right project to get her there. Despite a series of misfires (Need For Speed, anyone?), Poots is still one of the most talented young actresses in Hollywood, and she’ll look to prove it in not one, but two high profile titles at this year’s Sundance. In Frank & Lola she stars opposite Michael Shannon in what’s being described as a psychosexual love story. In Green Room, which wowed audiences at the Toronto Film Festival and is set for an April release, Poots and her punk bandmates are hunted by a group of sadistic neo-nazis led by Patrick Stewart in a chilling performance.
