Mary-Kate and Ashley Are Peak Olsen as Bridesmaids in a Friend's Wedding

Fact: I'd pay thousands of dollars to watch Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen smoke cigarettes, stare into space, and talk about textiles. Their frowns are iconic and belong in a museum (which actually kind of happened one time). Because these Starbucks queens are so against showing emotion (at least publicly), I'm always curious about how they'd act in deliriously happy environments. Again, I'd pay good money to watch the twins shrieking with delight at an amusement park or doing the Electric Slide at a cousin's sweet 16, but—thanks to the magic of the web—at least I can see how they behave as wedding guests.

A photo has surfaced of MK and A as bridesmaids in a friend's New Zealand wedding on February 25, and it's too perfect for words. I say "perfect" because you can't even tell they're bridesmaids. (We only know this because Us Weekly got the scoop.) In place are the girls' signature blank expressions, pursed lips, and oversized wardrobe—no goofy smiles or pouffy dresses in sight. I aspire to one day be this unimpressed by a tropical wedding.

It's ridiculously on-brand for the Olsens to look like they're in a Georges Seurat painting at a wedding—or waiting in line to purchase astronomically large handbags at Hermès. I'd bet my left arm one of them has a pack of Marlboros stashed away somewhere—maybe taped to that lovely, if unnecessary, umbrella.

Greatest bridesmaids ever.
