Mariah Carey and Bella Hadid Wore Basically the Same Track Jacket on the Same Day
On Thursdays we wear blue track jackets, at least Bella Hadid and Mariah Carey do. While the two women have opposite taste in clothing and were on opposite sides of the Atlantic, they somehow managed to match last night.
Hadid went out to dinner in Paris wearing a royal blue tracksuit from Off-White. The jacket was cropped, showing off her toned abs, and featured an oversized bedazzled circular zipper. The jacket also featured a band of black, white, and gray stripes across the bottom of the jacket and the cuffs. Oh, and the matching pants were tearaways, you know, the kind the boy you had a crush on in middle school wore every day. She dressed up the otherwise totally sporty look with a pair of strappy stilettos.
It seems Carey and Hadid have the same style for dining out, because across the ocean, Carey had dinner at Nobu in California wearing a seriously similar jacket. If she had been wearing the entire tracksuit, we’d be convinced they coordinated beforehand over the phone. But just the jacket is a believable coincidence. The only difference in the jackets is that the singer’s stripes were red and blue.
Carey couldn’t commit to the entire look that models like Hadid and Kendall Jenner have mastered, so she paired the jacket with a pair of jeans, looking equally carefree. Carey’s outfit had more sex appeal, as usual, thanks to fishnet tights under her jeans.
The best part is Carey probably wore it because it seemed comfortable, while Hadid totally wore it because of its high-fashion comeback of late.
