This weekend, our editors attended Blake Lively’s emo-romantic film The Age of Adaline now in theaters.
Blake, we love you and you’re gorgeous and all, but please make way for your co-star, the hunk-a-licious Michiel Huisman. We can’t stop dreaming about his performance as Lively’s lover Ellis Jones (and of course, his nearly-naked scene).
The 33-year-old Dutch actor is just now coming into limelight, with few appearances in the series Game of Thrones and Nashville, and more favorably in the film Wild, as Reese Witherspoon’s one-night-stand (and in a yurt of all places, ugh). He’s even modeled alongside Gisele Bündchen in a recent advertising campaign for Chanel No.5’s The One That I Want, directed by Baz Luhrmann. Huisman’s look is pretty versatile—he’s the perfect combination of granola-hippie meets David Gandy. We can only hold our breath in anticipation for his new thriller film 2:22, which the actor has been seen (in a norm-core look) filming in Sydney, Australia.
