#LifeIWant: Louis Vuitton ‘Petites Malles’
As everyone knows, I have a penchant for leather goods and even I can’t believe how special this bag is. Since Nicolas Ghesquière has taken over as the creative director of Louis Vuitton, fashion editors, celebrities and the uber rich have been falling over everything from his collections. This beauty goes by the name of ‘Petites Malles’ and she is brand new for Spring 2015.
Each sequin has been individually embroidered onto the celluloid frame to get this disco shimmering effect. I don’t think item can be called a bag, it’s more of a treasure! The inside chamber is lined with lambskin in a signature Malletage print and the hardware is comprised of Palladium brass. The bag can be carried in two different ways: as a jewel-like clutch or via a detachable leather-covered chain handle.
Now if you do fancy treating yourself or having someone (preferably a billionaire) treating you, good news. Anything over $3,000 bought on the LV website is automatic free shipping. Phew, right? That’s one less thing to worry about. Now all we need to do is find the $34,000 to pay for it the bag itself!
