It may not be a meat dress, but a pigskin purse is close enough for us. Lady Gaga sported the sporty accessory on a visit to the Pacific Palisades home of her A Star Is Born costar Bradley Cooper on Monday, according to The Daily Mail.

Gaga’s football handbag is a glossy replica of the real thing — even scaled to size — and includes gold hardware and a matching brown strap. Though we don’t know for sure, it bears a striking resemblance to a bag by Moschino, which is no longer available on the brand’s website but shows up various consignment sites like eBay and 1st Dibs.

The accessory popped against the 30-year-old’s all-black-everything outfit, which included a cozy sweater with frayed sleeves, leggings, and booties with chunky heels. Burnt umber shades, a boyfriend watch, small hoop earrings, and a high ponytail completed her chic look, according to photos published on the site.

A master when it comes to marketing, Gaga most likely intentionally debuted the bag to paparazzi in anticipation of her Halftime show performance at Super Bowl 51 on February 5. The Joanne artist confirmed in late September that she would be headlining the show, just a year after she sang the National Anthem at Super Bowl 50. At the time, Gaga tweeted, “The rumors are true. This year the SUPER BOWL goes GAGA! @nfl @FOXTV @pepsi #PERFECTILLUSION #GAGASUPERBOWL.”

And practice comes easily to a seasoned pro like Gaga. Three days ago, she Instagrammed a photo of herself in the studio with her backup band, writing, “30 days till #superbowl #halftime #gaga.” The chameleon-like Lady was wearing a red track suit with her name and the number 16 emblazoned across the back.

John Entz, Fox Sports president and executive producer of the Super Bowl, released his own statement when as the announcement was made; it read, “Lady Gaga is one of the most electric performers of our generation, and we couldn’t be happier with the choice to have her headline the Super Bowl LI Halftime Show. It is going to be an incredible night.”

“Lady Gaga is one of the most iconic and talented artists of this generation,” Mark Quenzel, NFL senior vp programming and production, added in a statement. “After her remarkable performance singing the National Anthem at Super Bowl 50, we are excited to see what she has in store for the world’s biggest stage – the Pepsi Zero Sugar Super Bowl LI Halftime Show.”

Since the release of the country-inspired Joanne, and even leading up to it, Gaga has adopted a country aesthetic complete with bubble-gum pink cowboy hat. It’s been quite a departure from her more experimental Fame- and Artpop-era looks.

That said, most true artists evolve, and Mother Monster seems to be full embracing her latest evolution. In another recent Instagram post, she’s riding a white horse through the woods while donning a black cowboy hat and a brown suede jacket with fringe. “#Joanne Halftime warm up Giddy-up. #SuperBowl,” she captioned the shot, hinting pretty blatantly toward what kind of performance she’s got up her sleeve.

It’ll be a little less than a month before we find out for sure, but in the meantime we’ll be on the lookout for shoulder pads, FieldTurf pants, or a helmet-inspired hat. We’ll report back from the fifty-yard line.
