3.1 Phillip Lim put gingham, tailored separates, and structured coats on the runway. A sort of lumbersexual take on prep with a grungy twist and a dash of femininity. Meanwhile, Kylie Jenner sat front row wearing a trendy oversized bubblegum pink coat over a head-to-toe black outfit. She fit right in with Lim’s aesthetic — until she smiled.

The 17-year-old attended the show with Justine Skye, a singer who has collaborated with Jenner’s boyfriend, Tyga, and both wore a set of gold teeth. The pair attempted to blend in with the fashion crowd by wearing the pastel pinks and blues that are de rigueur this season, but added their own unique choice of accessory, one that might have been a better fit at Hood by Air, which worked hard to bring the grill back.
