Demand for Kylie Jenner’s Lip Kit Has Already Caused the Website to Crash

For months, folks have been waiting with bated breath for Kylie Jenner’s range of lip products to hit shelves and now, fans of the reality TV star and her expertly-engineered pucker will finally be able to get their hands on the much-anticipated #KylieLipKit
After months of previews and teasers, Jenner posted an image to Instagram today of her product’s packaging, which features a photo of her begrilled mouth with liquid color dripping from it. The accompanying caption reads, “24 Hours,” announcing Jenner’s range of lippies, on sale tomorrow at 9am PST Right now for $29.00

Like much of what the Kardashian-Jenner crew puts out, Kylie’s Lip Kit is bound to be a hot seller. Still, in an interview with Galore magazine, Jenner admitted that she was a little scared about ordering too many units of the stuff, as she thought that the demand for her eponymous lip product wasn’t there. “I just put in my order for how many of them I want produced from my manufacturer. I was struggling with the number to ask them to make because I was like, Do I want to make this much? No, because nobody is going to buy it. I didn’t want to order that much. But then my mom was like, ‘Kylie, people are going to want your lip kit.’"

Considering the fascination behind Jenner’s pout, we don’t think young Kylie has anything to worry about when it comes to peddling her set of lippies. The Instagram page for Jenner’s latest @lipkitbykylie already has around 76.2k followers, which we expect will grow as the day continues. Seems like plenty of people are interested in buying what Kylie’s selling.
UPDATE 11/30: Just as we predicted, demand for Kylie’s Lip Kit is super high. Within the first minute of shopping the website, we were getting messages that the colors Dolce K and Candy K were sold out. We were able to add True Brown K to our carts (which appears to be the only shade left), but it seems everyone is trying to shop the website as once, as we’ve been getting error messages since trying to check out. Kylie took to twitter to address that the site has been experiencing technical difficulties, encouraging folks to keep trying to scoop up the shades. Maybe Kylie should have ordered even more units of her lippie sets!
