Kylie Jenner Redefines “Boat Shoes” With $895 Custom Converse

The number one rule of boating: remove your shoes before stepping aboard. Unless you’re Kylie Jenner. The reality star kept her custom Converse on throughout a cruise off the coast of St. Barts, where she just wrapped up a family vacation. Of course, if you shelled out $895 for a pair of snakeskin sneakers to match your one-shoulder bandeau bikini, you might refuse to take them off, too.
“Anaconda,” the 18-year-old reality star captioned the picture on Instagram. Lying down with the Atlantic Ocean in the background, Jenner accessorized her python print bathing suit with a body chain, oversized square Aviator sunglasses, and purple talons. (Hopefully, she left her thousands of dollars worth of Cartier bracelets and her new Rolex in a safe on dry land.)
The shoes, at least according to the Daily Mail, are made to order by boutique brand Taxidermy, which customizes shoes and bags with animal skin. Beyoncé is a fan too. But even Queen Bey knows that sneakers don’t belong on yachts.
