Kristen Stewart continues to be one of our favorite people of all time. The 26-year old Twilight alum is not only an incredible actress, but also a fierce style icon and strong, outspoken woman and we absolutely love her for it!
Kristen appears on the November cover of Elle’s Women in Hollywood issue and in her interview, told the publication something REALLY empowering about her relationship with girlfriend Alicia Cargile.
“I’m not ashamed, and I’m not confused. Things have changed. And not just with me—we’re really allowed to encourage this new acceptance to develop and be awesome.”

The Equals actress told Elle U.K. earlier this year, “Right now I’m just really in love with my girlfriend. We’ve broken up a couple of times and gotten back together, and this time I was like, ‘Finally, I can feel again.'”
Kristen also talked about how her relationship with Alicia changed her perspective on relationships — especially after dating costar Robert Pattinson in a highly publicized relationship for nearly 4-years. “It changed when I started dating a girl. I was like, ‘Actually, to hide this provides the implication that I’m not down with it or I’m ashamed of it, so I had to alter how I approached being in public. It opened my life up and I’m so much happier.”
