Simone Biles, Emma Stone, and Megyn Kelly Ate Breakfast in Pretty Fashions
Before coffee was served on Wednesday morning, Emma Stone, Simone Biles, Kelly Rowland, and some more of the most respected people in the film industry had their hair and makeup professionally done and were decked out in fancy clothes to gather at the Hollywood Reporter‘s Annual Women in Entertainment (WIE) Breakfast in Los Angeles.
Actress and comedian Tina Fey was honored with the prestigious Sherry Lansing Leadership Award, which notable figures including Shonda Rhimes, Oprah Winfrey, Meryl Streep, and Barbara Walters have received in the past. Actress Emma Stone and Olympic gymnastic medalist Simone Biles teamed up to surprise three girls with college scholarships, through THR’s WIE Mentorship Program. Producer-director Ryan Murphy, who was honored with the Equity in Entertainment Award, also spoke on women in the film industry and his belief that more needs to be done to help female directors in Hollywood advance.
As for what everyone wore, well, the clothes were impressive — just like the attendees. Kelly Rowland looked sophisticated in a teal suit; Emma Stone shined in a bright yellow minidress; Megyn Kelly brought her New York fashion sense to the event, wearing a tight black dress; and others stood out as well.
