Jennifer Lopez would totally do the Super Bowl, and YES PLEASE!

Given that she’s had one of the most iconic and illustrious careers in showbiz, we’d 100% support the idea of Jennifer Lopez playing the Super Bowl, and it seems she would, too!

It’s a truth universally acknowledged that Jennifer Lopez hasn’t aged since she burst onto the scene in the late ’90s. Not only does she seriously know her way around a red carpet look (or three), the star is a triple threat: She can act (as she does in Shades of Blue and HEAPS of our fave movies), she can sing (seriously, J.Lo’s discography is iconic), and she can dance (she can REALLY dance).

Well, now Jennifer Lopez has suggested that she’d like to take on the biggest stage in any artist’s career.

Dropping by The Ellen DeGeneres Show, J.Lo opened up to our favorite dancing talkshow host about how she’d love to take on the Super Bowl.

“I think people want me to do it,” Lopez admitted.

Tbh, she wouldn’t be wrong.

Continuing, Lopez said:

“I don’t know, there’s always rumors about it…I guess they ask people or whatever. If they ask me I would love to. I think it would be awesome. My dad would have an attack, he’d be so happy…I would be so excited.”

Okay, how do we make this happen? If you’ve never seen Jennifer Lopez perform before, the star does one HECK of a medley, as exhibited below.

What’s more, the star is competing for Britney Spears’ crown as the Queen of the Las Vegas Strip. In fact, Lopez’s residency, “All I Have,” has proven pretty darn popular. Also, she has SO many incredible and legendary songs, like “Jenny From The Block,” “Get Right,” “Play,” and “On The Floor.” All bangers we think you’ll agree.

While on the Ellen Show, Jennifer Lopez was quizzed about her rumored romance with Canadian rapper Drake. The star spoke about how she had been recording music with Drake, and also put a stop to any conversations about her dating younger men.

“I don’t date younger men, it’s not like you have to be younger,” she said. “I just meet people, and if I go out with them I go out with them, if I like them I like them, and if I don’t I don’t, and it’s just like…it’s about the person, you know what I mean? It’s about who they are. It has nothing to do with age.”

Ugh, we love Jennifer Lopez SO. MUCH. Now, we’re off to make a change.org petition to get J.Lo to the Super Bowl.
