Here’s how Jason Sudeikis used one kiss to win Olivia Wilde’s heart

Love can be found in many different places, like an SNL after-show party. Those happen after every single show, and knowing who’s on SNL, and who hosts SNL, it’s easy to imagine that they’re one wild time. For Olivia Wilde, it was also the place where she fell in luv, in what might be our new favorite meet-cute Hollywood romance.

Talking to Howard Stern on his radio show, Wilde explained how she and fiance Jason Sudeikis met at one of these SNL parties (where she happened to be a guest) and how she wasn’t having a great time. While standing off to the corner of the dance floor, Sudeikis walked up to her and delivered what Wilde describes as, “the greatest line of all time.”

“He came up to me, and he said, ‘Whatever you’re looking for, you don’t need it.'” Wilde explained, “And he walked away! He played it really cool.”

Sudeikis played it so cool, Wilde thought he had DIED, because she didn’t hear from him for a month. Eventually, the two got around to going out on a real date, but he didn’t kiss her until the fourth date!

For Wilde, it was worth the wait, because after the kiss she was “completely head over heels.”
