James Corden Cracks Up the Audience at the Burberry Show By Marching Down the Runway

On Thursday night in L.A., stars including Cara Delevingne (and her new girlfriend Annie Clark aka St. Vincent), Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Rose Byrne, January Jones, Mila Kunis, and the entire Beckham brood attended Burberry’s “London to L.A.” spectacular atop the Griffith Observatory.

As guests filed in, we caught up with James Corden to find out who he was most excited to see. “I’m looking forward to seeing my wife, who is stuck in traffic right now,” Corden told Yahoo Style. “I’m very much looking forward to seeing her. I don’t know who else is going to be here.” When someone mentioned that the Beckhams would be arriving momentarily the funny man responded, “Oh, well I had dinner with them last night so I’ve already seen them.”

Little did we know that Corden, who sat front row next to Anna Wintour (and his wife of course), would soon become a part of it. Following the runway spectacular featuring the Fall 2015 collection, the big surprise was that 19 of the Queen’s Guards (who were flown in directly from Buckingham Palace) marched down the runway as means of leading guests to the after-party. The models followed for their final run of show, and the last person to trot past was Corden. He was wearing a tartan cashmere scarf that everyone was gifted at their seats (embroidered with their initials!). With models Jourdan Dunn and Naomi Campbell laughing hysterically while he made his way down the runway, he took bows in the spirit of a grand conductor, and waved everyone to the next phase of the evening much to the delight of everyone in attendance.
