Social media made it easy for anyone with an iPhone to potentially become a famous photographer. But for the Golden Globes, Instagram didn’t ask a teenage selfie-master or a lady with a good eye for capturing cats to be its official presence at the big event. Instead, they called on real professionals: the famous photography duo Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.
The pair were stationed backstage, where they captured stars including Will Ferrell, Mark Wahlberg, Gael García Bernal, Melissa Benoist, Amy Adams, Kate Winslet, Jennifer Lawrence, and more, either in their post-win or presentation glee.
