Get ready to have your hearts broken, brides on a budget. J.Crew has announced that once its current inventory of bridal wear is sold out, the retailer will no longer restock.

The mid-priced line of bridal gowns and bridesmaid dresses that became popular for its simple, chic silhouettes and mix-and-match options, will soon be ancient history, a J.Crew weddings specialist confirmed to Business Insider on Thursday. J.Crew has marked down the entire line by up to 70 percent online and in stores and the garments are already sold out in many sizes.

Since its launch in 2004, the bridal line has been a beloved choice for many brides wanting well-made, stylish gowns, separates, and even jumpsuits that only looked like big-ticket items. The company also sold glamorous veils, headpieces, and sashes at affordable prices.

In addition to offering accessible bridal wear, J.Crew also pioneered the “same color, different cut” trend that allowed a team of bridesmaids with various body types achieve a cohesive look while still allowing the women to wear dresses that flattered their figures. Those garments appear to be in the process of being phased out as well. Curiously, apparel for grooms, groomsmen, flower girls, and ring bearers are not marked down on J.Crew’s website.

J.Crew even opened its first bridal boutique on Madison Avenue in New York in 2010, indicating it saw a bright future for its six-year-old line. Other bridal locations popped up throughout New York City afterward, but Business Insider says they will all be shuttered. The publication confirms that sales have been down overall for J.Crew, with revenue down about 4 percent in the most recent quarter, and in-store sales even worse.

Some social media users are already mourning the end J.Crew’s beloved bridal line. One person pointed to a belt Michelle Obama wore from the retail chain’s line in 2013, and bid “#rip” to J.Crew Bridal.

Though the marriage between J.Crew and bridal wear is over, the good news is you can still nab some amazing wedding gear for a limited time.
