Hilary Duff Is All About the ’70s in Her Latest Look

It seems Hilary Duff thought the front door of her house was actually a door to a time machine, because when she stepped outside, Duff looked ready for the ’70s.

The Younger actress was spotted running errands in Beverly Hills clad in fitted denim overalls with vintage-style oversize pockets. OK, so overalls have made a comeback recently, but not bell-bottom ones — those are generally still stuck in the 1970s … and in Duff’s closet, evidently.

Duff fully committed to the boho-chic look, wearing a beige ribbed turtleneck under said overalls and a suede studded Saint Laurent crossbody bag (that set her back more than $1,000). It couldn’t get more hippie, unless she was wearing round sunnies and some tie-dye.

The actress wore her blond hair up in a perfectly disheveled pony and wore minimal makeup — if any.

While it’s not our first choice for an errand-running outfit, we cannot deny that Duff looks bangin’. The snug overalls perfectly hug her fit figure, and the girl clearly doesn’t need an ounce of makeup to look good. It seems that the ’70s suit her.

And this isn’t the first time she’s donned overalls; Duff jumped on the ’70s trend that was all over the spring 2016 runways while out in Los Angeles in April, pairing these bad boys with a sleeveless top.

But don’t get the wrong idea; this isn’t her only pair of overalls. She also owns a pair of gray skinny semi-ripped overalls and a set of acid-washed ones.

Duff’s affair with, as she refers to them, ovies began as a child on the Disney Channel playing Lizzie McGuire. In fact, when she first stepped out in a pair of overalls, she credited her childhood alter ego for the inspiration.
