We got the album release date, the tour dates, and now? The video. “Sign of the Times” by Harry Styles now has a music video, and it was definitely worth the wait. Fans of Styles will probably be pretty pleased —not only does it feature a flying Harry, but he also walks on water.

Besides his superhuman abilities, the video is pretty simple — and definitely scenic. Since the song was inspired by a pretty grim scenario, we think it’s even more perfect.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Styles had this to say about the single:

“‘Sign of the Times’ came from ‘This isn’t the first time we’ve been in a hard time, and it’s not going to be the last time.’ The song is written from a point of view as if a mother was giving birth to a child and there’s a complication.”

Heavy stuff. But, watching the young musician soar through the mountains, weirdly enough, illustrates these points perfectly.

The video — shot at Scotland’s Isle of Skye — is also pretty incredible, since it truly focuses on Styles as a solo artist, and his journey towards a fresh career. As you know, this is his first single after leaving One Direction.

The full album will be out May 12th, and it’ll also include the song “Sweet Creature,” which Styles just released a few days ago.
