Guys Are Supposed to Wear That? The Most Outrageous Menswear for Winter

You’d think that in Milan and Paris, the men’s runways would mimic the streets: hunky guys dressed to the nines in immaculately fitted suits, slicked back hair, and $1,000 leather loafers (or, the Gucci furry shoes that are still a hit). Well, not this season. For the men’s fall 2016 shows, which culminated last night in Paris, some designers showed avant-grade fashion that incorporated recurring themes usually seen on women, like plunging necklines, skin-tight tops, and, perhaps worst of all, dresses.

The boys also experimented with some quirky beauty trends, too, from sky-high hairdos to white face paint. And as men’s shows march back to New York next week, we anticipate that some American designers will add gimmicky twists to their styles, too. Here, we look at Milan and Paris’ most outrageous offerings.
