This summer, the ‘Bromper’ — aka the ‘RompHim,’ or male romper — is the latest men’s fashion trend, for better or worse. It all started in May, when a Kickstarter campaign for the look went viral. A team designed the prototype with a $10,000 goal, and so far they’ve raised over $350,000.

Now, to put the comfort factor of the RompHim to the test, Youtube star QPark walked around Manhattan wearing one for a full 10 hours.

New Yorkers’ reactions were, of course, priceless — from one woman in Washington Heights (the ’hood Lin-Manuel Miranda made famous) catcalling “Hello Papi” and blowing him kisses, to another woman simply noting, “That’s a nice romper.”

But it was QPark’s male counterparts who rushed up to him, some screeching, others congratulating him in disbelief on how he was confidently wearing a male romper. “He’s brave though,” one guy noted. “He’s the first one.”

Finally, QPark’s social media has been blowing up, thanks to the romper video.

His video has raised some important questios as well.
