Gisele’s $700 Coffee Book Is Already Sold Out

Kendall and Kylie Jenner’s novel Rebels: City of Indra: The Story of Lex and Livia, which was released in 2014, has mostly one-star reviews on Amazon.com and didn’t get a paperback release. Gisele Bündchen’s book, on the other hand, sold out before it was even released.

The supermodel’s tome of iconic photos, Gisele, was priced at $700 and only 1,000 copies were printed. “I’m feeling gratitude for the love and affection I received from everyone today at the launch of my book, thank you for being present at this very special moment for me,” she wrote in the caption of a photo from a launch party.

The 536-page volume includes images from famous photographers of Tom Brady’s other half throughout her decades-long career including Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, Juergen Teller, and Irving Penn, whose work appears on the cover. Taschen, the book’s publisher, credits the depleted supply with pre-sales to Bündchen’s biggest fans. In fact, there was so much demand for maybe the sexiest coffee table book of all time that the price was almost upped to $1,000. All proceeds will go to a charity “close to [the model’s] heart."

Now that’s definitely not Selfish.
