Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik Forgot to Check the Weather Forecast Yesterday
As we documented back when we thought they’d broken up last month, Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik really like matching their outfits — even when the weather isn’t quite cooperating.
That might explain the famous young lovers’ interesting choices of clothing while strolling around New York City on Wednesday, July 6: Malik wore a gray sweatsuit and purple camo jacket, while Hadid chose a printed Pharrell Williams x Adidas Originals jacket over a yellow sweater and gray skinny jeans (worn low enough to show off her Tommy Hilfiger undies, natch), Puma Creeper sneakers, and a massive wool fedora. There’s nothing that brings two attractive, wealthy 20-somethings together like some exceptionally busy jackets.
But while the outfits themselves were mostly unremarkable, the temperature outside certainly was: New York City hit 91 degrees yesterday. That’s seven degrees above average, and about 25 degrees too warm to be wearing a single one of the layers these kids were piling on. And don’t get me started on the humidity.
Worst of all, we bet poor Gigi couldn’t even feel the cooling relief of an unexpected NYC air conditioner dripping on her through that giant hat of hers. The poor thing. At least it’s safe to say that, by the end of their jaunt, even the couple’s sweat stains were matching. Aw!
