George Clooney Shops His Closet, Wears His Armani Wedding Tuxedo to 2015 Golden Globes

It’s usually the girls who get outted for recycling outfits for high-profile events ( Kate Middleton , Keira Knightley , and Michelle Obama come to mind). But at the 2015 Golden Globes, it was none other than Mr. Amal Alamuddin, aka George Clooney , who rummaged in his own closet to find an appropriate outfit in which to accept his Cecil B. DeMille lifetime achievement award. It wasn’t just any tux, though: Clooney wore the same custom Giorgio Armani suit he wore to his Venetian wedding to the human-rights lawyer this past fall.

Clooney copped to the outfit redux in the press room after accepting his statue. If he wears it one more time he’ll match Knightley’s recycling record; she’s worn the same off-white Chanel Haute Couture dress a total of three times, including to her 2013 wedding. Celebrities, they’re just like us!
