The first official trailer for “American Horror Story” Season 7 is here, and we’re never sleeping again
It’s a well known thing that many people out there in the world are afraid of clowns. It’s just a thing. And from the looks of the first trailer for American Horror Story Season 7, soon we’re all going to be afraid of clowns, especially the demonic ones with axes and mallets and bee hive-like noses.
Because, come on, is it even an American Horror Story season if we aren’t terrified from just the first 52-second teaser alone?
Late Thursday night, Ryan Murphy revealed the title of the upcoming season, AmericanHorror Story: Cult. Somehow, this theme fits into the 2016 Presidential Election, and somehow Evan Peter’s blue hair is a piece of the puzzle.
While I cannot for the life of me figure out how the election plays into Cult, the latter is right in front of us: Some of these demonic clowns in the clown cult (???) have blue hair.
“Do you ever feel alone? Does it seem like no one really understands you? Do some people just make you sick?” The trailer asks, and well, yeah. In the sea of clowns with red noses, one lady clown with blue hair sticks out like a sore thumb — clearly stressing the idea of being different.
“We can set you free. We will make you strong. Join us.”
The trailer ends as the clowns point right at me us. And here I thought that moment during AHS: Roanoke when the pig man attacks that girl in the car was the scariest thing AHS has ever done. It sure looks like Cult might give the Butcher a run for her money.
