Pants Party! Tatiana Maslany, January Jones & More Ditch Dresses on the Emmys Red Carpet
At this year’s Emmys, the stars challenged the convention that the only way to look amazing was to put on a traditional, red carpet-ready gown. In other words, they didn’t play it safe. Although critic’s darling and Orphan Black star Tatiana Maslany didn’t bring home an Emmy tonight, she definitely looked chic in an all-white Bouchra Jarrar suit, which, by the way, was the only thing she had on—there was nothing underneath. GOT’s Sophie Turner, meanwhile, paired simple black pants with a deep, purplish blue tube top from up-and-coming London designers Galvan. January Jones opted for an emerald green jumpsuit by Ulyana Sergeenko’s Fall 2015 couture collection, and Kiernan Shipka—never one to be upstaged—wore her own couture look, from Dior’s 2012 collection.
