Editor-in-Chief Kerry Diamond Explains America’s Ice Cream Obsession

It’s been a tough week over here at Yahoo Food, what with our Ice Cream Nation series in full swing. Our fearless leader, Editor-in-Chief Kerry Diamond, knows the struggle well: This week, she swung by Yahoo News to talk about how gaga Americans are for the sweet stuff, plus their growing interest in so-called “nice creams,” which are made with dairy alternatives (like almond or coconut milk) or fruits (like banana). She and Yahoo News host Bianna Golodryga took one for the team, taste testing a huge number of flavors.

Of course, by “tough” we mean “awesome,” by “struggle” we mean “awesomeness,” and by “taking one for the team” we mean “making us all extremely jealous.”
