The Duchess of Cambridge’s latest outfit, along with the blue skies, seem to indicate that spring is upon us.

Kate looked in high spirits as she arrived at the XLP youth mentoring project at the Barbican in London.

The Duchess wore a very retro red and white check two-piece that resembled something Jackie Kennedy would have worn.

She also made the best of the bright British weather as she opted for bare legs underneath a chic, flattering, box pleated skirt.

She was joined by her husband William, Duke of Cambridge, as they met people who have benefited from the charity’s programme.

Forever recycling and re-wearing outfits, this ensemble is yet another reason why we love Kate’s style choices. Instead of opting to wear an established designer for the engagement, Kate chose to wear unknown label Eponine, a London based designer.

The entire suit set can be picked up for a comparatively modest £1,200 from their SS16 ready-to-wear collection.

We all know vintage styles come back around, but now that Kate has worn this swinging 60s look, it’ll probably come back into fashion a whole lot quicker.
