Did Meghan Markle's make-up artist accidentally give away her due date?

Here we are, on April 17, and Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's royal baby still hasn't been born yet. Which makes sense, to be fair, considering Meghan said her first child's arrival was due to be at the "end of April" or the "beginning of May".

But because we're all just very excited about the birth of Baby Sussex, the newest little royal in town, that doesn't stop people from speculating about exactly when the baby is due to be born. And some people think the Duchess' make-up artist, Daniel Martin, may have accidentally dropped a clanger of a hint.

Daniel famously did Meghan's make-up for her wedding day, as well as her baby shower in New York back in February. The former MAC counter worker is the Duchess of Sussex's right hand man when it comes to her face, so it's pretty fair to assume he will be there to do her make-up for the first photos with her newborn baby.

Daniel was spotted in London earlier this month, suggesting the New York-based artist is here on standby. But a recent, unsuspecting Instagram post on his account gives a big hint as to when Baby Sussex will arrive in the world: before May 5.

The make-up artist posted a promotional picture about his appearance at The Makeup Show NYC on May 5. It doesn't take a genius to work out that The Makeup Show NYC will probably take place in... well, New York City, so we can deduce that Daniel very much expects to be home in the US by then.

With Meghan and Harry having recently released a statement which confirmed that details surrounding the birth of their baby will remain private, it's thought the couple will wait a few days until after the newborn arrives before doing a photo call for the media with it. If that is the case, a make-up artist (Daniel) will need to be on hand in the UK to do Meghan's make-up.

But if he plans to be back in New York by May 5, we can probably assume the baby will be born very early May at the latest, to give him time to do his thing and then travel home. Which means there's likely only about two weeks to wait at the most before Baby Sussex is here. Anyone else is counting down?

According to statistics, the royal baby is most likely to arrive a little earlier than that - on April 28. But as we know with babies and births, absolutely nothing can be predicted - so we'll just have to be patient (or distracted by Easter eggs) that little bit longer.
