#Daydream: The Marble Cathedral in Patagonia, Chile

We know how it is. You’re stuck at your desk and the day seems to be going on forever. Your mind starts to wander — at first to “anywhere but here,” but then to exotic, faraway lands where your everyday problems and stress melt in the presence of true paradise. You want to go to there, and we want to go with you. Every day at 3 p.m. Eastern, we’ll send you a picture of the place we at Yahoo Travel are daydreaming about so we can all take that mental vacation together. Let’s go to…

…the Marble Cathedral!!! Let’s go to the end of the world today and check out this incredible rock formation created over millions of years. The Marble Cathedral is located in a wild and inaccessible part of Chile. Despite the difficult journey required to get there, it will all be worth it once you reach this amazing destination. Swim in the General Carrera Lake waters surrounding it and explore the caves running through it. Maybe even do a little fishing while you’re here (this lake is known for its abundant trout and salmonidae). Or just focus on the natural beauty rocks, which are really pretty spectacular.
