Couple Respond Brilliantly to Trolls Who Body-Shamed Their Engagement Pictures

Like many women, Mzznaki Tetteh was ecstatic about her engagement to fiancé Kojo Amoah and wanted to share it with the world by posting some cute snaps on her social media.

But, after posting an adorable series of images, the couple became victims of Internet trolls who body-shamed them. The negative remarks drew attention to their contrasting size and Tetteh’s plus-size figure.

However, the bride-to-be wasn’t about to let the haters get her down. Taking to Instagram, she responded, “Still confident … your rubbish comments ain’t ruining my happiness.”

The couple’s photos then quickly went viral, and the response was overwhelming. In fact, now you’ll have to scroll for quite a while to find even a hint of negativity.

A wave of good wishes, praise, and congratulations has hit Tetteh’s social media, with people praising her demonstration of true love.

The groom-to-be has also stood up for his soon-to-be wife, telling Ghana Web: “I have always been a fan of plus-size women, and I am so proud of my woman.” He continued to say that he didn’t regret posting the pictures concluding, “I don’t care about what anybody says out there.”
