This Couple Rescued 7 Animals and Now They're One Big Happy Family

From Country Living

If you think you have a lot going on in your family, just wait until you meet this cute bunch.

Over the past 10 years, Kasey and Blake Boggs, a couple from Missouri, have adopted a brood of seven animals, including two Pit Bulls, two Terriers, two ducks, and one cat, according to Bark Post.

Most of the animals were abandoned or came from abusive environments, but now they all live happily with Kasey and Blake. Luckily for us, the couple shares all of their adorable adventures with us (and their 32,000 Instagram followers!) every week:

This eclectic family began a few years back when Kasey, then 19, rescued Roxy, a scared and sickly toy Fox Terrier from a pet store. After adopting her, Kasey discovered that Roxy was missing a hip joint, a common issue found in dogs from puppy mills. Kasey nursed Roxy back to health and later, Roxy even became a certified therapy dog.

That moving experience led her and Blake to become passionate about caring for rescue animals. First, they adopted a Pit Bull named Nala, who sadly ended up dying from a preexisting heart condition. Then they rescued two more Pit Bulls-Jake, who was locked up in a crate by his owner every day, and Rosie who came from a dangerous dog-fighting neighborhood in St. Louis, Missouri.

The couple also saved Edith, a Rat Terrier Italian Greyhound mix from the Humane Society, who was found in a dark alley with mange and intestinal parasites. She was so ill that she almost died, but now she's fully recovered.

Then there's Mia, the family's cat, who was rescued from Stray Haven Cat rescue. And most recently, two ducklings named Gertrude and Donald, joined the family.

When they're not posing for cute photos, the dogs and cat go hiking together, and the ducks can be found bathing in their kiddie pool.

Kasey and Blake recently announced on Instagram that they're growing their family, yet again. They're expecting a baby in January 2017!
