Life is full of difficult decisions that must be made: Should you watch TV, or take a nap? Wear mom jeans, or boyfriend jeans? Go shopping, or eat pizza?

Now, Urban Outfitters is hoping to make at least one of those choices a little easier. The purveyor of all things trendy has just purchased Philadelphia-based pizza restaurant Pizzeria Vetri, along with its parent company, Vetri Family.

Financially, UO has been having a rough go of it lately, with shares currently down 36.8% for the year. According to the Wall Street Journal, it’s likely that the retail chain will open new locations of Pizzeria Vetri inside some of its stores in an effort to increase foot traffic and the time that customers spend inside.

UO has been experimenting with housing restaurants within its walls for the past several years, with a full-service restaurant and bar located in its Williamsburg, Brooklyn location, a cafe in NYC’s Herald Square, and another in Philadelphia. The partnership is intended to make shopping at Urban Outfitters more “experiential” and obviously, a lot yummier.

As for Vetri Family, it will now have the backing and resources it needs in order to expand its reach even further. Said Vetri COO Jeff Benjamin, “We don’t make decisions based on making money. We make decisions based on making something awesome.“ Agreed: Pizza is pretty awesome.

Let’s just hope UO stocks up on Wet-Naps… or it’ll soon have a helluva lotta grease-stained jumpsuits on its hands.
