Chrissy Teigen rocked an actual cape on the 2017 Oscars red carpet
Chrissy Teigen is always one of our favorite celebs on the red carpet. Actually, she’s one of our favorite celebs in life in general (because, she slays.) So we’re not a bit surprised that Chrissy is rocking the Oscars like a queen!
Correction…not a queen, but a GODDESS. At least that’s what her husband, John Legend, thinks. During his red carpet interview with E!, Legend looked lovingly at Chrissy and said, “You look like a goddess. I’m very pleased.” Awwww. Is it just us, or do these two get more adorable every time we lay eyes on them? (Evidence: the time John Legend helped a tipsy Chrissy Teigen out of her jewelry after the Grammy Awards.) Seriously, can they adopt us? Pleeeeease?
We have to agree with John. Chrissy definitely looks like a goddess in her white Zuhair Murad gown. The firework-like bejeweled front of the dress and matching earrings are literally mesmerizing (as in we genuinely can’t look away and somebody might need to call a doctor).
But wait. It also includes a CAPE.
If anyone can rock a cape, a thigh-high slit, and copious amounts of gold beading all at the same time, it’s Chrissy Teigen.
Bow down, guys. Bow down.
In case you missed it, Teigen is at this year’s Oscars because husband John Legend will be performing not one — but two songs from the movie La La Land — which he both acted and sang in. And needless to say, we can’t freaking wait.
