Cat Deeley On Her Crooked Nose & Cursing on TV

Cat Deeley’s a triple threat—she’s danced, she’s modeled, and she’s been known to hit a high note. And while the 38-year-old made a name for herself as the fun-loving British host of So You Think You Can Dance, it’s her nose that Americans seem to be most interested in.

“I know! It’s crooked. It bends this way,” Deeley tells Yahoo Style’s Nick Axelrod in this episode of I Yahoo’d Myself. “No one even noticed my nose when I was on screen in the UK and the minute I came to the US it was like, ‘She should totally put her nose straight!’ and I was like, ‘That is the least of my worries!’”

In fact, the only thing more talked about was that time Deeley dropped a F-bomb while presenting on a live British television show. Little did the audience (and YouTube) know that she was simply parodying an English comedy. “Do you know how many people have approached to me and said to me ‘Oh my god! Was that really you on live TV!?’”

As for Deeley’s co-hosts, the blonde Brit is happy to dish. Paula Abdul can make anyone—“Man, woman, child, beast, unicorn, it doesn’t matter!”—fall in love with her. And you may think Jason Derulo is super cool—“hanging out with Puff Daddy and winning Grammys and selling millions of records”—but she says he’s just a softie. “He used to be a tap dancer…and he quite likes a romantic comedy!”
