For the start of Milan Fashion Week on Wednesday, the biggest draws weren’t the Gucci, Alberta Ferretti, or Phillip Plein Spring/Summer 2016 shows. Instead it was just two models making an appearance at a mall that drew massive crowds.

Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne made a guest appearance at Mango’s flagship store in Italy’s Corso Vittorio Emanuele. The Brits, who sat next to each other int he front row at the Burberry show a few days ago in London, star together in the fast fashion retailer’s Fall 2015 campaign with the tagline #somethingincommon. Both wore head-to-toe Mango, with the 23-year-old actress in a corduroy skirt and ribbed top with a green military jacket and Dior-inspired black midi boots. Moss, on the other hand, wore a Saint Laurent-like ensemble in a white blouse with a black bowtie, dark-wash skinny jeans, and pointy-toe booties.

Before the event, Delevingne expressed her displeasure with the city’s paparazzi in a Twitter rant. “I was excited to be in Milan but now I have a feeling you are going to ruin my trip,” she wrote. “If only I could make you feel the way you make me feel, I just hope that outside of this, you are able to feel empathy for others.” She added that she refuses to “let these grown men treat people like objects with no feelings and get away with it.” Despite this, she still showed up and displayed the effervescent charm and wild antics that shot her to fame to begin with at the gathering. At one point the Paper Towns star even grabbed started twirling on the step-and-repeat and taking selfies and Snapchats.

The pair’s star power brought out hoards of adorers, even though it was raining. Hundreds gathered outside the store for hours, attempted to keep dry underneath umbrellas, all for a chance to meet the women. Some young girls on social media even admitted to skipping school to see them.

There’s no doubt Delevingne and Moss enjoyed their time together. As the 41-year-old said, “Cara and I always have fun together and you really can see that in this campaign.” As for Delevingne, she called having Moss as her partner in crime ideal. “We are a lethal combination. I admire her personally and professionally, she represents a true fashion icon. It is a privilege to learn and to share this experience with her. The shoot has been epic, it’s always fun when Miss Moss is around.”
