A C.I.A Bomb Sniffing Dog Was Fired Because She Didn't Want To Sniff Bombs Anymore
Work is hard sometimes. You've got to deal with spreadsheets, meetings, email jargon, colleagues, the politics of the tea station; not to mention that pernicious germ of a thought that sits in the deep recesses of your brain, murmuring devilish nothings like, "You're dying in here. What are you doing? Is this really how you want to spend your Tuesday afternoon? On a conference call? Leave. Live. Leave. Live. Leave... Live"
So spare a thought for Lulu, the C.I.A trainee K9 dog who's been shown her P45 after refusing to sniff bombs.
Lulu :(
According to a "Pupdate" on the C.I.A's website, Lulu the black labrador was "dropped" from the K9 program after she showed signs that she wasn't interested in detecting explosive odors.
"Lulu was no longer interested in searching for explosives", the blog wrote. "Even when they [the trainers] could motivate her with food and play to search, she was clearly not enjoying herself any longer."

Luckily for Lulu, her handler's family has decided to adopt her, so she'll be able to live out her days as a regular dog, rather than one who might get blown up.
