Buckingham Palace Employees Using Tinder Is Causing Security Concerns

This weekend I watched the movie “Diana” starring Naomi Watts. The film centers on her secret relationship with heart surgeon Hasnat Khan and it shows the lengths the Lady had to go in order to sneak her love into the Palace grounds or to get out and see him at his filthy flat. The Princess of Wales even had four different cellphones before everyone carried their mobiles around 24/7. But Buckingham Palace these days is reportedly much looser when it comes to casual affairs of the heart. The Daily Mail reports that the queen is “deeply concerned” for her safety because staff are bringing casual sexual partners that they’ve met through dating apps such as Tinder and Grindr back to their living quarters on the royal property.

The Daily Mail says that “according to well-placed sources, a number of the Queen’s 800-plus staff are said to use such online dating tools” and while live-in employees are allowed to host guests, they’re only permitted if they sign them in. “There are real and serious security concerns at Buckingham Palace about members of staff use of dating apps such as Tinder, which can be rather sleazy,” the source supposedly said. “The palace police are particularly unhappy about the number of guests of servants staying overnight, especially when they may have only just met on Tinder.” And in a place held to the highest standards of decorum, booty calls are probably deemed low-brow.
