From Town & Country

As assistant groundskeeper Carl Spackler would say, it's a Cinderella story.

A group of brothers from Chicago make it big with a movie based on their work as caddies at a golf club while growing up in Illinois, and then return to their roots years later by opening a bar based on the movie.

That's what actor Bill Murray (above, in Caddyshack), his brother Brian Doyle-Murray (who co-wrote the 1980 film), and their four other brothers are doing. According to the Daily Herald, the Murray clan has "a verbal agreement" to open an 11,000-square-foot golf-themed sports bar inside the Crowne Plaza hotel in Rosemont, Illinois, which is located about 15 miles northwest of Chicago. They are now working on securing a written lease.

The brothers-Bill, Brian, Joel, John, Andy, and Ed-already have a bar in St. Augustine, Florida based on the film, Murray Bros. Caddyshack. It opened in 2001 and uses the tagline "Eat, Drink, and Be Murray." (Take a look at the faux golf ball smacked into its exterior here).

If the menu at the new location is the same, it'll feature pub grub like chicken wings, "Spaulding's Hack Salad," and a "Double Bogey Cheeseburger."

While an opening timeline isn't yet available (the brothers need to submit blueprints for the local village to review before construction can commence), we're looking forward to digging into a "Divot" ice cream sundae sometime soon.
