Bella Hadid’s Latest Style Salute to the ’90s Is Surprisingly Affordable

Bella Hadid totally loves the ’90s. Lest you forget, the 20-year-old model has been bringing back some of the biggest looks of the decade over the past month. Low-slung jeans, squared-off sunglasses, and platform loafers are among the key pieces in her nostalgic repertoire. We suspect that the supermodel has many of the era’s cult classics in her Netflix queue for inspiration: The feathered duster coat she wore yesterday, for example, could have been lifted from Cher Horowitz in Clueless. You’ll be pleased to know that Hadid’s latest throwback move comes at a far more reasonable price point than anything in Horowitz’s closet. In fact, when Hadid stepped out today in New York City, she demonstrated that she’s as much a master of ’90s fashion as she is of high-low dressing.
Her Blank NYC black jeans come in at $98, leaving plenty of room in a supermodel budget to splurge on a throwback hoodie by Burberry, say. The unfinished hem offered a fun new twist on off-duty denim and hit at just the right place to show off those lace-up stiletto booties. Her accessories were also totally scene-stealing: a choker necklace with a zipper-hooped closure and a sleek patent leather shoulder bag.
