Anna Kendrick & J. Lo Team Up to Take Down John Krasinski on "Lip Sync Battle"
If you thought nothing could top Anne Hathaway perfectly copycatting Miley Cyrus’s “Wrecking Ball” on Lip Sync Battle, boy were you wrong. While the Les Mis actress’s interpretation might have been spot on, Anna Kendrick, who takes on John Krasinski in this week’s episode, brings star power (well, more than just herself).
Krasinski appears to be a worthy opponent at first, belting out the lyrics to “Proud Mary” and stripping down from his suit into a sparkly dress as the beat picks up, but Kendrick has trick up her sleeve. Because “Booty,” the Pitch Perfect star’s song of choice, is a duet, her good friend Jennifer Lopez helped. While a man with a bushy beard in a dress is always funny, Jenny From the Block is unbeatable.
