Anna Faris gets super real about her marriage insecurities with Chris Pratt, and we applaud her honesty
Being a famous celebrity definitely has its perks, (free SWAG, anyone??), but one of the major downsides is arguably a lack of privacy. Especially in relationships, and especially when both parties are famous, like Anna Faris and Chris Pratt.
And it breaks our hearts to hear that Faris says cheating rumors made her insecure about her marriage to Pratt. But we appreciate that she’s being so open and honest about this incredibly difficult issue.
Talking to Isla Fischer on her Anna Faris is Unqualified podcast (which is amazing btw), Faris admitted that she and Chris are open about their insecurities, but that tabloid rumors and gossip do add strain on their relationship.
“We grapple with a lot of the ideas of being a public couple. […] We were in the public a little bit, there were some tabloid rumors about strain in our relationship.”
Of course, Faris is a human being just like the rest of us, so even though she’s confident in her relationship with Pratt, she said some of the rumors definitely got under her skin.
“I just remember feeling so hurt in a way that bothered me, because I didn’t want to think of myself as somebody who could be affected by…tabloid sh*t. […] It made me feel incredibly insecure.”
Faris went on to say that she feels vulnerable sometimes when her work schedule doesn’t align with Pratt’s, and they’re forced to spend time apart in different cities — it takes it’s toll for sure.
“I take pride in how great my relationship is with Chris, but having said that, of course, in this crazy world where he’s off doing movies and I’m in L.A. raising our child, of course I’m going to feel vulnerable, like any normal human would.”

Anna, we get what you’re saying 100%. Long term relationships are hard no matter what, and throw in a boat load of public scrutiny, false rumors, and crazy work schedules, and we can totally see how it would all take its toll. Thanks for being so honest with us about the reality of Hollywood life lady. And please know we adore you and always have your back.
