Ali Wong and Randall Park Are Starring in Their "Version of When Harry Met Sally" for Netflix

The actors' longtime project is finally a reality.

Fresh Off the Boat star Randall Park and writer-comedian-actress extraordinaire Ali Wong are making their longtime dream a reality.

On Tuesday, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed that both parties are set to star in a yet untitled romantic comedy produced by Netflix, the plot of which follows “two childhood friends who fall in love as adults—though they've ended up in vastly different socioeconomic situations.”

The film in question has been in the works for quite some time. In Oct. 2016, Wong told The New Yorker she and Park had talked about making a rom-com together for years, a project she described as “our version of When Harry Met Sally.”

Park and Wong wrote the film alongside Michael Golamco (Grimm), and Netflix is reportedly in the process of hiring a director.
