An Airbnb host in London had a nightmare experience New Year’s Eve, as she was called back to her home to find a party of about 100 people taking place without permission and was punched in the stomach by one guest.

Christina McQuillan told the Evening Standard she regularly rents out her home in the Putney neighborhood of London, and had rented it out on New Year’s to a woman who said she just wanted a place to sleep that night.

Neighbors called her home because of the extreme noise and crowds. She said she found ripped floorboards, drug use, and a couple having sex while another person watched.

McQuillan said she was then punched in the stomach by a man wearing a hoodie. Police confirmed being called to the home.

“It was horrific,” she told the Standard. “Me and my partner got to the property and there were hundreds of people on the streets. You could smell cannabis a mile off. We entered the property and we told her to shut it down immediately. This girl just laughed and said ‘no, I’m holding a party.’”

The Standard reported that the woman who rented the home denies an “orgy” happened and that she had told the host about having celebrations that night.

An Airbnb spokesperson reportedly said, “We have zero tolerance for this kind of behaviour and have removed this guest from our platform. We are also in contact with the host and are providing them with our full support.“
